Welcome to the Guild Launch Support Site!

At Guild Launch we "eat our own dog food" by using one of our own guild sites as our support site. Every Guild Launch user is a member of this support site, and the site behaves just like one of your sites. In this way you can see how our features work, while you learn about our features. Feel free to access this site for information on new and upcoming releases, company news and updates, questions and/or concerns, and add-ons. You are also welcome to post any thoughts or feature suggestions that you may want to share. For further assistance, you can shoot us an email at support@guildlaunch.com or you can view other support options.

Short Downtme - DB Upgrades - Sat. 11/7 ~6am

by GL_Support, 2 days ago

We will be taking our primary database down for 15-30 minutes on Saturday 11/7/2009 around 6:00am Eastern to upgrade the RAM in the machine. This upgrade has been planned and is unrelated to last night's downtime.

More RAM on the primary DB gives us more room to grow so we're going to put a few gigs in it at once and we won't have to take it down again for RAM for a while.

Site Downtime - Definitely not Planned

by GL_Support, 3 days ago

We had a bit more than an hour of downtime tonight due to an issue with a database server. The issue wasn't truly critical in the sense of any damage being done, but there was an issue with a disk that needed to be addressed. When I originally looked at the problem I thought the issue was one thing and I inadvertently delayed the proper resolution.

Our long time users will know that we have a very good track record for uptime. We'll work to make sure this one doesn't happen twice. Again, I sincerely apologize for the downtime.

Sincerely,
Stephen

Version 6.9 - Usability and Kicking Ass is our Mantra

by GL_Support, 3 days ago

We are wrapping up the Version 6.9 release. We have a few large features and some smaller enhancements left to complete, but we have to have some secrets.

Over the last 3 years we've developed and integrated a great deal of functionality. We will never stop developing important functionality, but over the next 6 months, which will be 4-5 releases, we are going to be focusing heavily on usability, key feature development, and tuning functionality so that Guild Launch members feel like they are kicking ass when using Guild Launch.

Version 6.9 is the first of a series of releases along these lines though the 7.0 release should really plant the flag. The net effect will be that Guild Launch will continue to grow in functionality, but also in *fun*.

The Version 6.9 sneak peak info is here:

Enjoy!

Aion - Legion Roster Import - Testing

by GL_Support, 5 days ago

Greetings,

Note: This testing is not on the live site. Only in our development site. It will have no effect on your guild site.

In the 6.9 release we are including roster imports from AionOnline.com. Given that NCSoft is not providing XML or CSV data and is only providing HTML we are well aware that these imports are going to require some extra testing.

So, to that end we would like to test live, active Legions over the next week or so as we test the new release. So, if you have an Aion Legion and you want to help us out post here and we'll use your Legion for testing.

You won't see any immediate benfite since were still in private testing, but at a minimum you can be assured that if you post here the imports will import your guild once the functionality is released. Happy

-Stephen
