Passwords don't match message

Try simplifying the password and seeing if it sticks. There aren't any known issues with this functionality.

I had to reset my password. Once I received the new password I went to User Profile to change the password to something I can remember. I put in the password they sent me under old password. Then I type in the new password twice. When I hit save it tells me that the "passwords don't match". I have made absolutely sure there are no typos and that what I typed in each blank is exactly the same. Any ideas how to fix?
